APRIL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• 4/2 – Blood Drive 1-7pm – There will be a Red Cross Blood Drive at the Providence South Stake Center on April 2nd. It will be from 1:00 – 7:00pm. I want to encourage all who can donate their blood to do so. The vast majority of donations are used right here in our valley and help save the lives of people in our community. Whether you are a first time donor or a Power Red donor, please follow this link and sign up.  https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results?zipSponsor=Providence South StakeThe Red Cross is starting to implement a ring like sensor to measure hemoglobin , blood pressure and pulse rate. The great news is that it eliminates the finger prick but they encourage all donors to keep their hands warm as they wait to be checked in.

• 2025 Cannery Assignments and Signup Sheet – Next Assignment is 4/24.  Additional assignment dates can be seen across the tabs at the bottom.  Signups sheet is located here: Cannery Signup Sheet
• Beginning this Thursday, February 20th, at 6:30 PM, Brother Gordon Low will teach a new Adult Education course: “A Restorational Study of the Pearl of Great Price.” Classes will be held each Thursday in the Stake Relief Society room.  This course will explore the Pearl of Great Price in the context of the Restoration, complementing your Come, Follow Me study. All interested adults are invited to attend and participate in discussions about this vital addition to our modern scriptures. Brother Low is an excellent instructor and brings a wealth of knowledge to the subject.  Dress will be casual.  Bring a friend!
• The Young Single Adult Stakes have been reorganized across cache valley.  
  • 18-25 year old YSA from Providence South Stake are now assigned to the Logan YSA 7th stake and the 19th ward with bishop Kevin Reynolds; they meet Sundays at 10:15am at 1345 E 1100 N in the north chapel.  
  • 25-35 year old YSA meet at 305 south main in Providence with Bishop Card at 10:30am. 
• Prepare to Share weekly 3:30-4:30 at the stake center for juniors and seniors.  Come for the Holy Spirit, stay for the treats

LOOK AHEAD ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• 5/17 – Veterans Support Open House luncheon/BBQ: Saturday, May 17, 2025, drop in between noon and 1400 hours at the Stake Pavilion. This open house is for all who are serving and those who have served in the military and their significant other, plus any widow or widower of a military spouse. The purpose of these semi-annual get-togethers is to get to know and support those who are serving or have served in the military
• 5/18 – Seminary Graduation at 5pm at the stake center
• 6/21-22 – Stake Conference
