BUILDING/ROOM SCHEDULING
Reservation, Use, and Care of Church Meetinghouses and Pavilion
The Church Handbook details that meetinghouses are used to (1) make and renew covenants through sacred ordinances; (2) meet together; (3) worship and pray together; (4) teach and minister to one another. Other guidelines include:
- Personal reservation requests cannot be confirmed more than 60 days in advance (except wedding reservations are allowed 120 days in advance) – (NOTE: a $50 fee and a $150 refundable cleaning deposit are required to reserve the Pavilion for personal events; no fee or deposit is needed for Church-related activities in the Pavilion).
- Reservations needed to fulfill callings will take priority over personal requests.
- Reservations for personal family baptisms and children’s blessings should come from the bishopric overseeing those authorized activities.
- Please respect the sacred nature of the Pavilion and meetinghouses by cleaning up at the conclusion of your event.
- In case of a scheduling conflict, every effort will be made to find a space in one of the 4 meetinghouses or Pavilion.
- Confirmations of reservation requests will typically be given by the Stake Building Representative or High Councilor.
